A teenage driver was arrested by Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Thursday after a traffic stop and now faces drug and weapons charges in addition to traffic-related violations.
Issak Perez, 17, was pulled over in the eastern part of the county, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO).
Perez has been charged with Possession of Schedule II Drugs with Intent to Distribute, Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Reckless Driving, and Possession of a Firearm under (age) 21. He’s also facing other drug- and traffic-related charges.
