Overnight Saturday, Jackson County sheriff’s deputies along with Georgia State Patrol arrested 13 people during a number of safety checkpoints.
Sheriff Kevin McCook say the charges include a number for DUI, drug law violations, and suspended driver’s licenses. Outstanding warrants were also served on several individuals who happened to arrive at a checkpoint and a number of other charges were made.
In addition to the arrests, Sheriff McCook said 21 warning citations were issued.
