INK groundbreaking; local artists included in new Brenau exhibition

*INK, the Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, broke ground this week for its new and expanded facilities which will be located in Oakwood. The hands-on, interactive museum for youngsters announced several years ago it planned to relocate to South Hall. It has been housed on Chestnut Street in Gainesville since its inception several years ago.

*Seize the Clay, a survey of ceramic educator work, opened today in Sellars Gallery at Brenau University, showcasing the creations of 22 art educators from the Southeast, including are several from the immediate Gainesville area: Gainesville, Gillsville, Buford, Cumming, Dahlonega and Jefferson. Find out who they are here: ‘Seize the Clay’ highlights art educators (brenau.edu) Their works will be on view until Dec. 8.
