Hurricane Helene: One year later – a look back

It was a year ago that Hurricane Helene struck the U.S. and before it moved on it had left a trail of death and destruction and disruption of lives across much of the South – especially Georgia and the Carolinas.

Though our area did not suffer to the degree that other places in Georgia did, it was still impacted.
