Here we go again…

Another storm system is bearing down on us from the west as cleanup continues in parts of Georgia where the weekend storms did damage.

“Severe thunderstorms could impact north and central Georgia on Thursday,” the National Weather Service (NWS) said in a noontime advisory Wednesday. “The risk will be highest between 4 PM and midnight, with damaging winds gusts to 60 mph and hail near the size of quarters being the main hazards.”

For now, it looks like the strongest of the storms will impact Alabama and Mississippi and a tiny section of northwest Georgia.
