A Gainesville woman remained in the Hall County Jail Monday morning following a violent incident last week involving a juvenile victim. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) released information on the case Monday morning, the second such incident reported here in a week.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“The incident occurred the evening of Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at a residence in the 2700 block of Old Flowery Branch Road. Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies were dispatched to the residence to investigate a domestic dispute. When they arrived, deputies found the suspect, Sasha Inessa Robles-Fernandez, 34, and the victim, a boy under the age of 12, in the roadway in front of the residence. The on-scene investigation determined Ms. Robles-Fernandez had become upset with the teen because he was smoking a vape. She struck the boy multiple times with her hands. In addition, she pushed him against the wall by his neck, causing the juvenile to struggle to breathe.
As a result of their findings, deputies charged Ms. Robles-Fernandez with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act (FVA), cruelty to children in the first degree and Battery FVA. The suspect also faces a charge of interference with government property because she damaged the inside of a patrol vehicle with her handcuffs as she was being transported to the jail.
The case has been assigned to an investigator in HCSO’s Violent Crimes Unit.”
