HCSO: Two arrests in separate fleeing/attempting to elude cases

Hall County authorities had to deal with two cases Saturday involving motorists who ended up being charged with fleeing and attempting to elude. And in both instances, a DUI charge was also filed.

The sherif’s office reports that a 32-year-old woman was arrested about 4:00 a.m. at Candler and Poplar Springs roads. She’s facing seven charges in all and was being held in the county jail as of mid-morning Sunday. Bond has been set at $9,990.

In the second case, a 20-year-old man was also charged with laying a drag or reckless conduct with a vehicle and other traffic-related offenses. His arrest occurred just after midnight Friday at Browns Bridge, according to sheriff’s office records.

More information on each of these will not likely be available until local law enforcement offices reopen Monday morning following the weekend.
