The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating several business burglaries reported Sunday morning in the Atlanta Highway area.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“At approximately 3:30 (Sunday morning, deputies) responded to break-ins in a shopping plaza in the 1200 block of Industrial Boulevard. Deputies performed a safety check of the building, and no one was inside. An HCSO K9 Unit arrived and searched the area but didn’t find the suspects. Deputies contacted the owner of the plaza and owners of the businesses within it, and HCSO investigators responded.
According to the initial investigation, four businesses in the building were impacted, all involving shattered glass doors or windows. The businesses include Aaron Auto Sales, Order Express – Gainesville Check Cashing, Boutique Mi Silueta and Nueva Imagen #2 Salon De Belleza y Peluqueria. The suspect or suspects took cash from the boutique and jewelry from a counter at the salon. Nothing was stolen from the other businesses, according to the preliminary inventory.
Several hours later, at approximately 8:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a burglary at a convenience store at 2925 Mountain View Road. The operator of Subhanallah Food Mart arrived for the day to find a shattered window. According to initial details, the suspects made off with cash from the register and vapes from the store.
Investigators believe the same two male suspects, both wearing ski masks and gloves, are responsible for the shopping plaza and convenience store burglaries. No additional suspect information is available.”
