HCSO: Prostitution-related charges

Several people were charged recently by Hall County authorities with prostitution-related crimes – including pimping, prostitution, and pandering. They range in age from 20-52.

According to Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and Hall County Jail reports, the arrests were made Friday.

A 37-year-old man is charged with pimping, at least three women 30-52 years of age face prostitution charges, and at least three men, ages 20-33 are charged with pandering.

Most of the suspects also face charges not related to sex crimes.

Meanwhile, in separate incidents, the sheriff’s office has made drug trafficking/distribution, cruelty to animals and home invasion charges against two people and another involving passing a school bus – something that drew the attention of the state legislature earlier this year and resulted in stiffer penalties in such instances.

More information on each of these cases is not likely under law enforcement offices reopen Monday following the weekend.
