A Hall County Jail inmate authorities say talked about “stabbing someone” has been moved to another section of the jail after a weapon was found in a search of his cell.
“(About noon) on Wednesday, Hall County Jail officers found inmate Noah Scott in possession of a homemade weapon (4.5-inch shank),”sheriff’s office spokeswoman B.J. Williams wrote in an email Friday. “Jail officers were made aware of threats Scott had made about ‘stabbing someone,’ so they searched his belongings and found the weapon. Scott never used the weapon.”
Scott was moved to another pod in the jail.
