One of the drivers involved in a minor rear-end collision on I-985 early Thursday remained at large Friday morning, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
“Deputies responded to the scene of a minor rear-end collision at the I-985 southbound off ramp to Friendship Road,” the sheriff’s office report says. “The at-fault driver got out of his vehicle and ran from the scene on foot when one of the deputies approached.”
The other driver was not injured and told the officers the at-fault driver spoke with her and asked her not to report the accident because he had no license and no insurance for his vehicle.
