HCSO: Drug suspect was selling within 1,000 feet of school

HALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:


“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators confiscated a range of illegal drugs and arrested a
Gainesville man this week on multiple drug-related charges.
The undercover investigation, conducted by members of the HCSO Special Investigations Unit (SIU),
culminated with the search of an apartment in the 1000 block of Rainey Street on Monday, Oct. 2.

During the search, investigators confiscated approximately 30 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, nine psilocybin infused chocolate bars, seven grams of cocaine, 600 grams of marijuana, 23 THC oil vapes and four one-ounce containers of THC oil resin. Investigators also found packaging material and scales in the apartment.
SIU obtained arrest warrants for a resident of the apartment, Samuel Villa, 26, on the following felony
charges.
 Sale of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school – 4 counts
 Possession of psilocybin with intent to distribute
 Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
 Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
 Possession of THC oil with intent to distribute
 Felony possession of marijuana
The total street value of the seized drugs is approximately $4,000, according to investigators.”
