A Toccoa woman remained in the Hall County Jail early Monday afternoon after she was reportedly found Friday afternoon charging her cell phone and a hair straightener on the enclosed porch of a rental property in Chicopee.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:
“Just before (2:00 sheriff’s deputies) responded to a residence on G Avenue and located Elizabeth Ann Robinson, 36, standing in the front yard. A realtor was also at the residence to meet a potential renter for the property.
The realtor believed Robinson was the potential renter but became suspicious when another person arrived for the appointment. The realtor reported to deputies that he found Robinson sitting on the porch with her belongings and the phone and hair straightener plugged into an exterior outlet. During the investigation, deputies located a glass smoking pipe and a baggie containing approximately .25 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value $25), which they determined belonged to Robinson.
As a result, Robinson was charged with burglary, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects. She also was placed on a “hold” for a warrant out of Habersham County…”
