The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says the law enforcement activity at a South Hall Park early Saturday afternoon involved the discovery of an apparent suicide victim.
“In an effort to assure the public that the area is safe, we are passing along our investigators’ conclusion,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post late Saturday afternoon. “The earlier incident at Alberta Banks Park involved an individual who took their own life. The victim’s family has been notified and is aware of the situation. We ask that you respect their privacy in any comments you may make. We continue to investigate the incident and there will be no further updates this weekend.”

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is asking people to stay away from Alberta Banks Park in Flowery Branch until further notice.
“We have an active investigation and will provide an update soon,” according to a Facebook post. “We assure you, there is no danger to the public.”
