The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating an incident that occurred Thursday morning on Memorial Park Drive in which one motorist reportedly became enraged with another and then struck her vehicle before leaving the scene.
The victim told deputies she was eastbound on Memorial Park Drive waiting for a green light to make a left turn to Atlanta Hwy. She reported (a motorist) was behind her yelling at her to move up because he wanted to proceed straight on Atlanta Highway. (He then reportedly) drove around her vehicle and sideswiped her back bumper and left the scene.
(The victim) took a photo of (his) license plate and called law enforcement. A deputy contacted (the alleged hit-and-run drive but) he denied being involved in the accident. No charges had been filed as of late Friday afternoon, according to the sheriff’s office.
