HCSD announces two retirements

Two central office administrators with the Hall County School District (HCSD) will retire at the end of the current school year, the district announced Friday.

Joey Millwood, Director of Student Services, started with the district 30 years ago and his tenure includes service in a wide range of roles at both the school and district levels. He began his career as a paraprofessional at South Hall Middle School.

Eddie Millwood, Director of Digital Convergence, is also stepping down. His career with the district spans 31 years. He began as a teacher and coach at East Hall Middle School and later served at C.W. Davis Middle School. Over the years, he held leadership roles as assistant principal and principal at both East Hall Middle School and C.W. Davis.
