HCFR: Early morning fire destroys vacant house

HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 1:30 a.m., Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 4100
block of Cedar Creek Road for reports of a residential fire. Upon arrival, crews
found a fully involved small single story home. Due to the size of the fire,
personnel extinguished the flames from the exterior of the structure.
The residence appeared to be vacant and a primary search was later
conducted confirming that conclusion. No HCFR personnel was injured during
operations and the building was a total loss. The cause of the fire is unknown
and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
