HCFR: Apartment fire displaces 10

HALL COUNTY FIRE RESCUE NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 8:20 a.m. Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 1800 block of Tulip Drive in Gainesville for reports of an apartment fire. Upon arrival, units found a small apartment building with smoke showing. Prior to HCFR arrival, all occupants exited their units. 

The bulk of the fire was contained to one apartment on the second floor. Crews extinguished the flames quickly from the interior using hand lines. A primary search was completed and was all clear. The American Red Cross was notified for 10 residents that were displaced from three separate apartments due to the damages.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation at this time by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
