Thursday night’s Hall County Commission (HCC) meeting wasn’t all about a proposed data center and the large number of people who appeared at it in opposition to the request. Hall data center applicant withdraws request Two large housing development requests were also on the agenda. And they, too, had drawn opposition since plans for them surfaced earlier this year.
After the data center matter had been settled, the commission voted in favor of both the residential items one of which included a companion industrial development component.
One is for a townhome development on Old Winder Highway and the other a 323-unit residential project on Cagle Mill Road and an industrial site, as well.
