The Hall County Commission (HCC) will consider spending more than a million dollars on the purchase of three new ambulances this week.
Approval of the purchase from Ten-8 Fire and Safety of Bradenton, Fla., is on the agenda for Monday’s commission work session. The total purchase price comes to $1.07 million.
Two Old Cornelia Highway rezoning requests are also on the agenda.
Brayden Carter Brock, LLC, is asking that 13 acres near the Shady Valley Road intersection be rezoned from Agricultural Residential 1 (AR-1) to Light Industrial (I-1). The proposed use: Heavy
equipment storage.
The same applicant wishes to rezone a one-acre tract in the same area from Suburban Shopping (S-S) to
Light Industrial (I-1). The proposed use: Sign manufacturing and printing business.
Final action on each of these would likely be taken at Thursday’s regular commission meeting.
