(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – The Harris and Trump campaigns are focusing on Georgia this week as the Nov. 5 election draws nearer.
Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff visited Georgia to support his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, in her presidential campaign. Emhoff delivered remarks at campaign receptions in Atlanta and Newnan, spoke at an Atlanta Pride kickoff event, and participated in a Get Out the Vote rally in Athens.
Former President Donald Trump is also scheduled to visit Georgia for campaign events before the election, including speaking at the National Rifle Association’s Defend the 2nd event in Savannah and headlining a Georgia for Trump rally in Duluth.
Both Trump and Harris view Georgia as a crucial state in the race for the presidency.
