With qualifying getting underway this week for the November municipal elections and a referendum on extending a Hall County sales tax (SPLOST) already scheduled, the Hall County Republican Party has scheduled a candidate forum next month.
September 13 is the date, and local municipal candidates are being invited to participate as well as the candidates running in a special election for state the State Public Service Commission. There is also a planned discussion of the SPLOST referendum.
The meeting will be held at the Gainesville Civic Center, 9:00-noon.
