Hall County gas prices remain the same as a week ago – averaging $2.74 a gallon, according to AAA.
The state average, meanwhile, increased a penny – to $2.81. And the national average is $3.07 – up a nickel.
AAA says refinery maintenance in California is part of the reason for the increase in the national average: when refineries pause production, gas prices in the area temporarily go up.
“Still, the national average is lower than it was this time last year, and gas prices should remain on a quiet path as we get closer to Thanksgiving,” the latest report says.
