Significant πππ accumulations of π.ππβ ππ¨ π.ππβ are expected (especially from the I-575 corridor eastward through Gainesville and southward toward I-20).
A transition from snow to π¬π₯πππ ππ§π/π¨π« ππ«πππ³π’π§π π«ππ’π§ has begun and will continue through the remainder of the day. Rain may mix in at times through the evening.

Expect πππ£πππ§π€πͺπ¨ π©π€ ππ’π₯π€π¨π¨πππ‘π π©π§ππ«ππ‘ ππ€π£πππ©ππ€π£π¨ where accumulating ice on top of the snowfall that occurred earlier today is expected. Snow and ice on the roads will refreeze overnight, making for dangerous travel conditions again Saturday morning.

There is a concern for ππ¨π°π§ππ ππ«πππ¬ ππ§π π©π¨π°ππ«π₯π’π§ππ¬, as well as power outages, primarily on Saturday afternoon given wind gusts of 20-30 mph and snow/ice coated tree branches. Power companies cannot utilize equipment when wind gusts reach dangerous conditions, leading to extended outage times.
