Hall divers aid in recovery of missing 5-year-old’s body from retention pond

Members of Hall County Sheriff’s Office dive team and Gwinnett County Fire Department Swift Water Rescue team located five-year-old Indi Bullock’s body Friday in the retention pond behind the apartment complex where he lived.

At this time there is no suspected foul play, but the official manner of death will be determined by the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s office, according to Gwinnett Police.

“We express our sincere gratitude to all the departments and agencies involved in the search operations,” a police spokesman said.

The autistic, non-verbal youngster had been missing since Thursday afternoon when he left his home at Reflections on Sweetwater Apartments in Lawrenceville after jumping over the balcony of his residence.

A massive search for him had been underway ever since.
