Hall Co. tax bills finally ready

With the Georgia Department of Revenue approval of Hall County’s 2025 property tax digest, the Hall County Tax Commissioner’s office is preparing to issue approximately 100,000 tax statements for real and personal property.

The bills are being mailed today and have a due date of January 23. In addition, they are available on the county tax commissioner’s website, HallCountyTax.org.

Typically, property tax bills are mailed on September 15 with a November 15 due
date. However, adjustments required by Georgia House Bill 581 affected the
timeline for counties statewide, including Hall County.

“Meeting the new legislative requirements has taken a tremendous effort from
our team,” said Tax Commissioner Darla Eden. “We appreciate the community’s
patience and understanding as we implemented this year’s changes to deliver
accurate tax bills with the required new content and format. To enhance clarity,
we introduced a redesigned, larger-format tax bill that highlights key information
to help taxpayers better understand their assessments and payment details.”
