Hall County saw record-breaking employment gains in April.
The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) also reported Thursday that the county’s April unemployment rate was down five-tenths of a percent from March to 2.3%. A year ago, the rate was also 2.3%.
Hall County finished the month with 108,889 employed residents, an all-time high. That number increased by 297 over the month and 1,777 from the same time a year ago.
And the county ended April with 109,800 jobs. That number increased by 300 from the previous month and 1,000 from the same time last year.
