It’ll be Christmas in little over weeks and every year at this time the Red Cross’ thoughts turn red – as in “blood.”
December is always a critical time for Red Cross blood and platelet donations. Many people who are regular donators get busy with the hustle-and-bustle of the season and put off rolling up their sleeves and making a donation. So, the Red Cross always schedules special dates for donations and offers incentives to try to get people to come in.
The Atlanta chapter has five scheduled in Hall County between now and Dec. 30:
Flowery Branch
12/18/2025: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Spout Springs Library, 6488 Spout Springs Rd.
Gainesville
12/17/2025: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green Street NE
12/18/2025: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Hall County Government, 2875 Browns Bridge Rd
12/26/2025: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green Street NE
12/30/2025: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Northeast Georgia Health System Inc., 743 Spring Street
