More than 24,000 voters in Hall County went to the polls last week during the first week of Early Voting.
The county elections office reports that as of the end of the business day Friday, 24,030 votes had been cast. That’s 17.17% of the county’s registered voters. The numbers do not include those who voted Saturday.
Statewide, more than a million votes were cast last week – a record for a first week of Early Voting, which continues through November 1.
