Hall County Government and the City of Gainesville are working together with the Georgia Mountain Food Bank to establish food collection sites to help fill the SNAP benefits gap following the federal government shutdown.
Collection sites will be located throughout the city and county, with distribution by the Georgia Mountain Food Bank.
Additional details, such as collection sites and most-needed items, will be released by Friday, Nov. 7.
