Monday morning started with a vandalized sign at North Hall Church.
The sign, declaring “We Stand With Israel,” had been spraypainted with a message in support of Palestine, an obvious reference to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
The church’s pastor, Bucky Kennedy, posted on Facebook that by afternoon “We had a new sign…” showing only the original message.
“Antisemitism is growing everywhere, as is hate in general,” Kennedy went on to say. “Hate and fear are allies who share the same agenda of destruction under the operation of evil. Faith and hope also work in a strategic alliance with the Holy Spirit and the absolute truth of God’s Word.”
The church is located on Mt. Vernon Road.
