A now-former Habersham County Sheriff’s Office jailer – charged with sexually assaulting an inmate – turned himself in at the county jail Thursday afternoon.
HABERSHAM CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
“Edwin Alexander Mendoza, 20, is charged by the GBI with one count each of sexual assault against a person in custody and violation of oath of office.
