HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“Daja LaPrincess Hill, 29, of Gainesville, remains in the Hall County Jail following her arrest this week on charges of felony financial transaction card fraud and exploitation of an elderly person.
The investigation began on May 13, 2025, after a deputy with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) met with the victim, a 74-year-old male cancer patient, who reported someone had made unauthorized transactions on his bankcard. The victim and his wife had already met with the bank and determined the fraudulent transactions totaled $2,720.95. The money had been transferred from the bank account to a PayPal account.
The case was assigned to an HCSO property crimes investigator who was able to link the PayPal account to Daja Hill. Ms. Hill was arrested at a hotel on Lanier Islands Parkway on Tuesday…”
