The House Study Committee on Cancer Care Access, chaired by State Rep. Lee Hawkins (R-Gainesville), will hold its first meeting on next week at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
Created by House Resolution 72, this committee is charged with studying the lack of access to quality cancer care and the need to evaluate and make recommendations for such care.
The meeting will be held May 29, 9:00.
