Gainesville issued 36 permits last month for new, single-family housing expected to cost $9.3 million. That’s according to the city’s February building permit report.
The Community& Economic Development Department also says there were nine permits approved for residential repairs, remodels, and additions for $451,000 worth of construction.
In addition, the city issued two permits ($235,000) for new commercial construction and nine for additions/repairs/remodeling ($916,000).
