Two people, including a Gainesville man, are under arrest after Glynn County Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress Saturday night at Georgia-Pacific Wood Products in Brunswick. The caller reported two people were inside one of the buildings on the property, which has had previous reports of copper thefts.
GLYNN CO. POLICE NARRATIVE:
“Officers arrived…and began canvassing the property, which contains (several) buildings. During the search, officers (saw) one suspect running between two buildings. Patrol officers, with assistance from a K9 unit, apprehended the suspect without incident. A second suspect was (found) nearby behind one of the buildings.
Officers located a bag containing tools believed to be used in the commission of the burglary. Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Glynn County Detention Center.
