A Gainesville man remains in the Hall County Jail following his arrest Wednesday for molesting a girl for 15 months before she reported it, according to a sheriff’s office spokeswoman.
“Davis Pagan, 31, has been charged with aggravated sexual battery, aggravated child molestation and child molestation, all felony charges,” B.J. Williams wrote in an email. “The victim, a girl under the age of 16, reported the crimes to a school counselor this week. The counselor notified the Division of Family and Children Services and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) after the victim disclosed details of the assaults.”
Detectives determined the sexual assaults occurred between January 2025 and last month, Williams added. Pagan and the victim are known to one another.
Pagan was taken into custody at sheriff’s office headquarters.
