Gville lottery player wins $2.5M

A Gainesville player won $2.5 million recently playing the $2,500,000 Cash Multiplier scratch-off game, according to Georgia Lottery officials. The ticket was purchased at Casa Blanca, 1785 Browns Bridge Road. The winner claimed the prize Sept. 5.

A Union City resident won one of the five-million-dollar top prizes playing the Jumbo Bucks Extravaganza scratcher. The winning ticket was purchased at Welcome Road Truck Stop, 4165 Roosevelt Highway in College Park. The winner claimed their prize on Sept. 19 and chose the cash lump sum option for $2.5 million. Last week, players claimed $43.9 million prizes from scratchers.

Another Georgia Lottery player hit the jackpot for $298,947 in the Sept. 17 Fantasy 5 drawing. That winning ticket was purchased at Publix at 3330 Inner Perimeter Road in Valdosta.
