The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Gainesville and Hall County lists transportation projects from the Metropolitan Transportation Plan for implementation over a four-year period.
There is one proposed amendment to the FY 2024-2027 plan, which works to add one project to the TIP program for those years: the addition of $1.5 million for a further study of the planned widening of Browns Bridge Road (Ga. 369) from McEver Road to the Forsyth County Line.
The amendment requires a 15-day minimum public comment period, which began April 16 and is scheduled to end April 30.
The proposed amendment, which is expected to be considered by the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (GHMPO) Policy Committee May 6, can been found at www.ghmpo.org. Hard copies are available at the Hall County Planning Department.
