The state patrol said Saturday no new information is available on the five-fatality wreck on Georgia 365 last weekend, including the name of the fifth victim.
“Due to the complexity of the investigation and the need to properly identify occupants in (vehicle one), we are unable to provide any updates until the SCRT (Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team) case and the Crime Lab report are complete,” a spokesman said.
Authorities had previously said the driver of the first vehicle was Michael Boggs, 58, Marietta. A woman was the only other person in the car.
Meanwhile, the wife and two young children of a Hall County sheriff’s deputy, who were among the victims and were in the second vehicle that was involved, were laid to rest Saturday afternoon.
