An accident on Thompson Bridge Road Friday about noon was caused when one driver turned into the path of another, the state patrol said Saturday morning. There were no injuries.
STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“Vehicle 1 was traveling south on Thompson Bridge Road. Vehicle 2 was traveling north.
Driver 1 was attempting to turn left into a private drive in the 3600 block of Thompson Bridge Road.
Driver 1 failed to yield and turned left in front of Vehicle 2 causing Driver 2 to strike Vehicle 1 in the front right with the front of Vehicle
This crash was determined by vehicle damage and driver statement.
Driver 1 stated that someone was waving him to go and turn left and Driver 1 proceeded to turn left but the right lane traffic was still moving, and Vehicle 2 struck his vehicle.”
