A 37-year-old Gainesville man is being held without bond and for immigration authorities following his recent arrest in connection with a it-and-run accident. The state patrol says the wreck happened about 8:00 Thursday night on Green Hill Circle near Elita Drive.
Manuel Caudillo Becerra is charged with DUI, Probation Violation, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Hit-and-Run.
GSP NARRATIVE:
“Vehicle 1 (Becerra) was traveling south on Green Hill Circle. Vehicle 2 was traveling north on Green Hill Circle. Driver 1 failed to maintain his lane of travel and struck Vehicle 2….”
The investigating trooper said Becerra left the scene and went to his house. “I later found him located at his house and matched the damage with the vehicles.”
