Gainesville Police responded to Haven Inn & Suites over the weekend as part of a welfare check and discovered the body of a man in one of the rooms.
Investigators are investigating the death as “suspicious.” At this time, they are awaiting autopsy results and following up on leads in the case, according to a news release.
The man’s name was not disclosed, and the release said further information will be released “as it becomes available.”
