A 49-year-old man has been charged by Gainesville Police with two counts of rape.
Dexter O’Neal Foster is being held without bond in the Hall County.
A spokesman for the Gainesville Police Department said Wednesday that the alleged victim reported the assaults on June 7, naming Foster as her attacker.
“It is believed that both are homeless and met in the area,” Lt. Kevin Holbrook said. “The victim stated that Foster raped her on two occasions. Warrants were obtained by investigators (and) he was arrested without incident.”
Foster was booked into the jail Tuesday.
