Gainesville Police are investigating a report of a road rage incident they received Thursday afternoon, according to spokesman Kevin Holbrook.
“We did take a report for the alleged incident,” Lt. Holbrook wrote in an email Friday afternoon. “Subject stated a female in a Honda Accord pointed a firearm in their direction. Police were unable to locate the vehicle. Case under investigation.”
Holbrook said it reportedly happened on I-985 southbound at Exit 20 about 4:30. The incident was reported by a 23-year-old woman.
