The case of a Gainesville woman who is the subject of a missing person alert issued by the Gainesville Police Department (GPD) Friday night has drawn the attention of a national missing persons organization.
The National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc. said in a Facebook post Saturday afternoon “We have shared and are following the missing endangered alert for Lashonda.” The GPD alert, however, does not mention “endangered.”
The lookout has also attracted the attention of many people on social media most of whom saying they are praying for her safe return.
