A 51-year-old man remains in jail following his arrest late Monday afternoon by Gainesville Police on fraud and drug trafficking/distribution charges.
“(He) had warrants for financial transaction card fraud, officers got out with him, had a total of 70 grams of methamphetamine on him,” police spokesman Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email. “The original warrant was for use of a stolen credit card.”
