The first occurred Wednesday night on Browns Bridge Road and the second was early Thursday morning on Thompson Bridge Road, resulting in one serious injury.
The Browns Bridge crash occurred when an SUV turned into the path of a motorcycle in front of Advanced Auto Parts, according to Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook. “Adult male driver of the motorcycle was transported to (Northeast Georgia Medical Center) with (a) complaint of injury,” Lt. Holbrook wrote in an email.
The serious injury occurred in the Thompson Bridge Road accident when one vehicle turned into the path of another.
“(A) 63-year-old male turned left from Thompson Bridge Road in front of a passenger vehicle,” Holbrook said, adding “the driver (the 63-year-old) of that vehicle was transported in serious condition to NEGMC; the second driver was transported in stable condition.”
The accident happened near Thompson Court.
No other information on either accident was available Thursday because, Lt. Holbrook said, because neither accident report was finished.
