(FROM GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Personal data may have been exposed on the new Georgia website for cancelling voter registrations.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger introduced a website for canceling voter registrations earlier this week, but a glitch allowed access to sensitive information.
The website aims to update voter rolls by removing inactive registrations, particularly for those who have moved out of state.
The glitch has since been fixed, but Democrats continue to question the site’s security and potential for misuse. Republican fears of voter fraud have led to increased challenges to voter registrations in Georgia.
