A public hearing will be held next week on a Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA) request for a bond issue “not to exceed” $30 million.
The money would be used to finance construction of a multi-family housing project of up to 100 units, Lakeside at Harrison Village Apartments, at Harrison Rd. SE and Athens Highway.
The hearing is planned March 19 at 10:00 at GHA headquarters, 750 Pearl Nix Parkway.
